Mental Health First Aid

We know that mental health issues are common, and they impact people during their prime working years. Discover the importance of Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) in the workplace, an essential tool to assist a colleague, client or friend. These transferable skills will be able to be utilised in any aspect of your life too.

Our Workplace Mental Health First Aid course is specifically designed to teach participants how to support their colleagues in the workplace. The course will teach the skills on how to recognise symptoms of common mental illness, how to have a conversation about mental illness and assist someone experiencing a mental health crisis. Early intervention is key, and knowing how to help is everything.

We will also aim to provide you with actions you can take to reduce stigma in the workplace, and language to use when discussing mental illness. As a workplace, you may choose to participate in the Skilled Workplace Program, contact us to find out how.
